Unauthenticated PHP file inclusion
Published Apr 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Local File Inclusion in Hubzilla Redbasic before 7.2 allows remote attackers to include arbitrary PHP files through the schema parameter. The theme passes the request-controlled schema value into require_once without validation, including directory separators that enable traversal to readable PHP files. Remote unauthenticated access is sufficient; execution of included PHP depends on a file containing executable code and web-server read access.
