Denial of service via incomplete IXFR validation

A denial-of-service flaw in PowerDNS Authoritative Server and Recursor 4.6.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt IXFR transfers. During IXFR fallback to a full transfer, the server accepts a prematurely interrupted stream as complete because the end condition is insufficiently validated, processing an incomplete zone. Exploitation requires man-in-the-middle control of the IXFR network path; Authoritative Server exposure requires IXFR-enabled secondary zones, while Recursor exposure requires remote RPZ retrieval, and the consequence is service disruption or missing RPZ policy entries.
