Cleartext credential storage in Jenkins dbCharts Plugin 0.5.2 and earlier allows local users to read JDBC passwords from controller files. The plugin serializes each configured password without encryption into hudson.plugins.dbcharts.DbChartPublisher.xml. Access requires read permission to the Jenkins controller file system, and exposure is limited to configured database credentials.
