Credential ID enumeration via unchecked HTTP endpoints
Published Mar 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins Kubernetes Continuous Deploy Plugin 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate credential IDs. Several HTTP endpoints return stored Jenkins credential identifiers without checking permissions beyond Overall/Read. Overall/Read access is required, and the exposed identifiers enable credential-capture chains but do not disclose credential secrets by themselves.
