Service interruption via unauthenticated WLAN reconfiguration
Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper access control in TCL LINKHUB Mesh Wi-Fi AC1200 MS1G_00_01.00_14 allows adjacent attackers to interrupt service via network packets. The ucloud service accepts unauthenticated WlanCfgAll protobuf messages on TCP port 9003, and confctl_set_master_wlan writes supplied SSIDs and passwords directly into the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz configuration. Access to the router-provided Wi-Fi or wired network is required, and changing those credentials can disconnect clients and alter network access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
