Browser script execution via reflected query parameter

Reflected XSS in Splunk Enterprise before 8.1.4 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser through a crafted query parameter. The Monitoring Console reflects the parameter into a web response, but Splunk has not identified the parameter or missing encoding operation. Exposure requires Distributed mode and a user to open attacker-supplied content; the script executes within the affected SplunkWeb session.
