CVE-2022-2712Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via unfiltered dot-slash paths

Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Jul 22, 2026

Path traversal in Eclipse GlassFish 5.1.0 through 6.2.5 allows remote attackers to read configuration files and application source via HTTP. The web component accepts request paths beginning with ./ without filtering the relative-path element before resolving the requested resource. No authentication is required; successful requests disclose server-side files but do not alter data or interrupt service.
