CVE-2022-27108Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-account timesheet creation via unchecked employee identifier

Published Apr 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

An IDOR in OrangeHRM 4.10 allows remote authenticated users to create timesheets in another user's account through a web request. The createTimesheet endpoint accepts a caller-controlled employeeId and verifies only that the session is valid, not that the caller may act for that employee. Any logged-in user who supplies another valid employee identifier can add a timesheet to that employee's account, while the documented impact is limited to timesheet integrity.
