Database read and write via blind SQL injection
Published Apr 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Time-based blind SQL injection in Forma LMS before 1.4.3 allows remote attackers to read or overwrite application database data. The vulnerable HTTP endpoint and parameter are undisclosed; crafted requests drive character-by-character database inference through response delays. No authentication or user interaction is required, but extraction requires many HTTP requests because each character is recovered through timing.
