Unauthenticated command execution via remote6in4 injection
Published Mar 15, 2022 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Command injection in affected TOTOLINK X5000R and A7000R firmware allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted request. The Tunnel 6in4 handler passes the unneutralized remote6in4 parameter into an operating-system command. The request requires no authentication but must originate from an adjacent network; successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
