Kernel heap disclosure via unchecked frame length

Information disclosure in the Linux kernel before 5.16.12 allows physically proximate attackers to read heap memory through an SR9700 USB device. The sr9700_rx_fixup function trusts the receive-frame length declared by the device and copies that many bytes from the socket buffer without first ensuring the frame fits within the received buffer. An attacker must present a malicious SR9700-compatible USB Ethernet device; the resulting packets can expose kernel heap contents to local user space without changing data or interrupting service.
