Database query manipulation via unescaped pconsultation parameter

SQL injection in register.php in SourceCodester Electronic Medical Records System allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The update handler incorporates the pconsultation value into an SQL UPDATE statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid application account is required, and successful exploitation can read or modify clinic database records within the database user's privileges.
