Stored script execution via unencoded profile fields
Published Aug 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in the Profile Page of SourceCodester Wedding Hall Booking System allows remote authenticated users to run script. Profile update handling stores attacker-controlled field values without sanitization, and profile and client-list views emit those values without output encoding. A client account is required to plant the payload; execution occurs when the client or an administrator opens an affected view, exposing browser-accessible cookies.
