Stored XSS via unsanitized booking remarks
Published Aug 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Wedding Hall Booking System allows remote authenticated users to execute script via booking remarks. The booking workflow stores the Remarks value without neutralization and renders it in client and administrator booking views without output encoding. A registered client must submit the remarks, and the script runs when that client or an administrator views the booking, allowing theft of the viewer's cookies.
