Denial of service in affected F5 BIG-IP Advanced WAF, ASM, and APM 13.1.x through 16.1.x releases allows remote attackers to terminate bd. F5 has not disclosed which requests reach the vulnerable control-flow path or why processing those requests terminates bd. Exposure requires ASM or Advanced WAF and APM on one virtual server, Session Awareness, and the Use APM Username and Session ID option; the published impact is availability loss only.
