Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized date filters
Published Aug 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Expense Management System allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via date filters. The fetch_report_credit function in report.php incorporates attacker-controlled from and to POST values into an SQL command without neutralizing special elements. The report interface requires an administrator login, and successful injection is limited to the application's database privileges.
