Local-file disclosure via malicious web page loading
Published Apr 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Local-file exposure in Asana Desktop before 1.6.0 allows remote attackers to read local files by inducing the app to load a malicious web page. Public records identify malicious web-page loading as the trigger, but Asana has not published the affected component or the operation that exposes local files. Exploitation requires the user to cause the desktop app to load attacker-controlled web content and is limited to reading files on that computer.
