Published Apr 15, 2022 · Updated Jan 2, 2025
Information disclosure in Hyper-V Shared Virtual Hard Disks in affected Windows Server releases allows remote authenticated users to read data. Microsoft has not published the affected code locus or the wrong operation performed when shared virtual-disk data is accessed. Low-privilege access and a configured shared virtual hard disk are required, and the reported consequence is confidentiality loss only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
