Out-of-bounds write in AVEVideoEncoder in Apple tvOS before 15.5 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. AVEVideoEncoder performs insufficient bounds checking during an undisclosed operation, allowing data to be written beyond an intended buffer. Exploitation requires an application to run on an affected Apple TV and can compromise the kernel; Apple has not disclosed the crafted input or code path.
