Out-of-bounds write in AVEVideoEncoder in Apple tvOS before 15.5 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code with kernel privileges. Apple identifies inadequate bounds checking in AVEVideoEncoder but has not disclosed the affected function, buffer, or attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires an application to reach the encoder and trigger the write, after which code runs with kernel privileges on affected Apple TV devices.
