Arbitrary code execution via WebKit memory corruption
Published Nov 1, 2022 · Updated May 6, 2025
Memory corruption in Apple WebKit on macOS Monterey before 12.4 and watchOS before 8.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. WebKit manages internal state incorrectly while processing malicious web content, corrupting memory; Apple has not disclosed the affected function or object. A user must process attacker-controlled web content, and resulting code execution remains within the affected WebKit process rather than granting reported kernel privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
