Out-of-bounds read in AppleScript in affected Apple macOS releases allows context-dependent attackers to disclose process memory via an SCPT file. The AppleScript framework parses crafted SCPT data by reading past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires a user to visit malicious content or open the file and can expose process memory or terminate the parsing application.
