Classic buffer overflow in Siemens SCALANCE X switches before 5.2.6 or 5.5.2 allows remote attackers to crash devices via HTTP GET. The embedded web server fails to validate an incoming request URI before copying it into a fixed-size destination. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must reach the switch management interface; successful exploitation interrupts switching-device availability.
