Memcached command injection via NUL-terminated crafted keys

CRLF injection in PHP-Memcached 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or overwrite cached values through crafted keys. The published proof of concept feeds Memcached::get an application-supplied key containing a NUL byte followed by CRLF-delimited commands, which the ASCII protocol interprets as additional cache operations. Upstream disputes that the extension is defective because applications must validate untrusted cache keys; reachability requires a web application to pass remote input directly into a cache-key operation.
