Unauthenticated database access via Password SQL injection
Published Apr 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Matrimony 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through the login form's Password parameter. The login handler passes crafted Password input into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing injected subqueries and UNION clauses to execute. No authentication or user interaction is required; demonstrated payloads can retrieve application data and obtain administrator-account control.
