Arbitrary file disclosure via crafted GET request
Published Apr 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in FANTEC MWiD25-DS Firmware 2.000.030 allows remote attackers to download arbitrary files via a crafted GET request. Public records do not identify the HTTP endpoint or parameter, or explain how the firmware maps attacker-controlled request data to a file path. The request requires no authentication, and the documented consequence is read-only exposure of files available to the device.
