Administrator-session script execution via unfiltered query parameters
Published Mar 25, 2022 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Reflected XSS in Maccms v10 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through crafted query parameters. The art data template inserts select and input into hidden input value attributes without applying the project's XSS filter. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted URL, allowing script to run in that administrator's session and read accessible data such as cookies.
