Firmware authenticity failure in Red Lion Controls FlexEdge DA50N all versions allows remote authenticated users to install malicious packages. The web update interface accepts administrator-supplied package files without adequately verifying authenticity, allowing altered or unauthorized files to be deployed. Administrator privileges and user interaction are required; successful deployment can compromise device data, modify it, or interrupt service.
