CVE-2022-26509

Information disclosure via pre-relocation pointer dereference

Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025

Information disclosure in Intel SGX SDK for Linux before 2.16.100.1 allows local users with elevated privileges to read enclave data. The protected code loader dereferences an untrusted pointer before enclave relocations establish the base-address and size values needed to validate it. Exploitation requires local high privileges and a vulnerable enclave load, and the reported consequence is limited confidentiality loss.
