Remote code execution via unchecked block index

A heap-based buffer overflow in AT&T Labs Xmill 0.7 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted compressed XML file. DecodeTreeBlock uses an attacker-controlled tag identifier as an unchecked index into blockarray, allowing a forged heap object and virtual table to redirect execution. Exploitation requires XDemill to process malicious XMI or embedded APX content, including during an engineering-workstation project upload.
