OS command injection in Poly EagleEye Director II before 2.2.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its web API. The administration interface concatenates unescaped values from at least four settings fields, including deviceName, into strings passed to Python os.system(). Administrator access is required for this CVE alone; injected commands run as www-data, which has sudo privileges that permit root execution.
