Use-after-free in MediaTek Android 12.0 vdec fmt allows local users to gain System privileges via improper locking. The vdec fmt component can access memory after it has been freed when concurrent operations are not synchronized correctly. Exploitation requires high local privileges but no user interaction, and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability at System level.
