An out-of-bounds write in MediaTek Wi-Fi driver 7.6.2.3 allows local users with System execution privileges to escalate privileges. The driver performs a write without the required bounds check, allowing the operation to extend beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires local access with System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and can corrupt driver memory.
