Improper input validation in MediaTek Android 12 emi mpu allows local users with System privileges to disclose memory contents. The emi mpu component reads beyond the intended buffer because a missing bounds check fails to reject an out-of-range access. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges but no user interaction; the demonstrated consequence is memory disclosure only.
