Uncontrolled search path handling in Intel oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler Runtime before 2022.0 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the runtime search-path operation but has not disclosed the library, executable, or lookup sequence that accepts an attacker-controlled path element. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and user interaction, and successful path interception executes attacker-controlled code with elevated privileges.
