Physical data extraction via unencrypted storage

Cleartext storage in Baxter International Spectrum Wireless Battery Module allows physically proximate attackers to extract sensitive data. The module writes Wi-Fi credentials and, on Spectrum IQ pumps using auto programming, protected health information to persistent storage without encryption. Physical access to a module whose data and settings were not erased exposes stored network access material and patient information; the published record reports no integrity or availability impact.
