Administrator-level script injection via unescaped stored input
Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Mammothology AB Press Optimizer 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into site pages. The public advisories do not identify the affected field or function; they state only that stored input is insufficiently sanitized and output is not escaped. Administrator privileges are required to store the payload, and a different user must open an injected page for the script to execute in that user's browser.
