Uninitialized memory exposure in Linux Xen block frontends allows local users controlling a PV backend to read guest kernel data. The frontend shares communication pages with the backend without first zeroing regions not intended for transfer. Exploitation requires a Linux guest using a potentially malicious PV device backend and exposes residual guest memory; writable mappings can also crash consumers.
