Improper access control in Siemens Mendix Forgot Password 3.3.0 through 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to hijack user accounts. The sign-up flow can be used against arbitrary existing accounts, but Siemens has not disclosed the missing access check or responsible code locus. The sign-up feature must be enabled in the affected application's configuration; exploitation gives control of the targeted local account.
