Inadequate encryption in The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7.2 before 7.2.7 and 7.3 before 7.3.3 lets local users recover stored passwords. The web-connection password store poorly encodes its user-supplied master key, reducing effective entropy from 128 bits to 43 bits. Exploitation requires read access to a user's stored configuration data and enables offline brute-force recovery of saved web-connection passwords.
