Out-of-bounds read in Libarchive 3.6.0 allows remote attackers to disclose memory or crash a consuming process via a crafted ZIPX archive. zipx_lzma_alone_init requests nine bytes of LZMA header data without first verifying that the ZIP entry has nine bytes remaining. Exploitation requires an application to process attacker-controlled ZIPX content; the bounded effects are memory disclosure and process termination, not data modification.
