Stored XSS via unescaped custom imprint setting
Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in DSGVO All in one for WP before 4.2 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to run scripts. The plugin stores the dsdvo_customimprinttext setting without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without output escaping. An administrator must submit the crafted setting, and another user must view the affected page; multisite restrictions on unfiltered HTML do not prevent the injection.
