Local privilege escalation in Beckman Coulter REMISOL Advance 2.0.12.1 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. Normand Service Manager runs as SYSTEM while its executable and associated libraries remain writable by nonprivileged users. A low-privileged Windows session is sufficient to replace a service file and gain administrative control after the service or host restarts.
