Privilege escalation in Beckman Coulter REMISOL Advance 2.0.12.1 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM on Windows. Installer-set permissions leave MessageServer.exe and associated service libraries writable by non-privileged users. After replacing one of these files, a local user must restart the service or host to run the replacement with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
