Unauthenticated file read via unsanitized URL path
Published Apr 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in Barco Control Room Management Suite 2.9 Build 0275 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files. The web application passes URL paths containing backslash parent-directory sequences to file handling without sanitization, allowing a crafted GET path to escape the web root. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed data includes application source, configuration, and critical operating-system files.
