Unauthenticated command injection via FileName
Published Mar 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in Totolink A830R, A3100R, A950RG, A800R, A3000RU, and A810R firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via crafted requests. The setUploadSetting function accepts the FileName parameter as command input without adequate neutralization, allowing shell command injection. The vulnerable web interface is reachable over the network without authentication according to the published CVSS vectors, and successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
