Code injection in Notable 1.8.4 allows attackers to execute arbitrary operating-system commands through a crafted note title. The Title editor renders unfiltered HTML, allowing an image error handler to call Electron's Node.js require function and launch child_process commands. The payload must enter the Title text field, and successful execution runs commands with the privileges of the Notable process.
