CVE-2022-26143Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated DDoS amplification via exposed test command

Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Access control failure in Mitel MiCollab before 9.4 SP1 FP1 and MiVoice Business Express through 8.1 allows remote attackers to cause DDoS. The tp240dvr service exposes an unauthenticated UDP/10074 stress-test command that responds to a spoofed request by emitting billions of status packets. Internet exposure and source-address spoofing are required; one request can consume outbound capacity and interrupt voice service, while public sources do not identify the sensitive data exposed.
