CORS bypass via unintended servlet filter invocation

CORS bypass in Atlassian Server and Data Center products allows remote attackers to access applications with a victim's permissions. A crafted HTTP request causes the dispatcher to invoke the Servlet Filter that answers cross-origin requests while processing an otherwise unrelated request or response. Exploitation requires a user to request a malicious URL, after which a browser-side request reaches the application with that user's permissions.
