CVE-2022-26134Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via URI namespace evaluation

Published Jun 3, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

OGNL injection in Atlassian Confluence Server and Data Center allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted URIs. ActionChainResult passes the namespace derived from an untrusted request URI to TextParseUtil.translateVariables, which evaluates embedded expressions through OGNL. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests run attacker-chosen commands with the Confluence process account's privileges.
